Resources

These are links to different resources you can use. I will add to this as I find ones I like, and you can also suggest some by contacting me.

Writing

Fanfiction.net - This is a general fanfiction archive. There is a lot of crap on it, but you can find quite a few gems too. I highly suggest this if you are looking for fanfiction of just about any fandom.
Fanforge.net - This is a fanfiction archive that is ran by a friend of mine, and that I also help moderate. It's relatively new and small.
Critique Circle - I have not been on this site in a short while due to cutting back on what I do on the internet, but I still advise that anyone looking for critique for an original story go here. The people are quite friendly, and honest about what they think of your work.
List of Colours - Need help finding the perfect colour to describe something? I stumbled on this a while back, and it is just what you need. It has different terms for different colours.
Writers' Cafe - I have the free version of this program, and though it is limited compared to the paid one, it is useful for organizing story information and story lines.
Natural Reader - I haven't used this program myself yet, my computer having no sound and all, but I have heard many good things about it. Good for any writer who needs to hear their story with someone else's voice.

Art

deviantART - You haven't seen an art site until you've seen deviantART. You like a certain type? They most likely have it somewhere.
How To Draw Manga - These are some of the best anime drawing books I've seen. I've not had a chance to really get any use out of their Manga Academy, but the little I did do was somewhat helpful.
Oh! Ekaki! - This is more for using MS Paint then anything else. I've not used this site in a long while, but it got me out of a few issues I had in my MS Paint stage. :]
PolyKarbon - I printed out a few of their tutorials for my own reference. They have a lot of them, spanning from basics all to way to more detailed drawing.
Baka Neko - It has more tutorials for anime and even doing things in 3D. There really isn't much I can tell you about it, besides how much I like this site.

Forums

Eden Enchanted - This is a large dolling forum. Unless you don't mind large communities, I don't suggest this one. However, it that does not bother you, this is a good place to go for posting your work and getting feedback if you need it.
Fractured Fairytales - A themed dolling forum. It's 18+, so it does have a more mature atmosphere to it. The people are quite friendly, and they have competitions for the members too.
Corrupted Carousel - Another themed dolling forum. It's also 18+, and even more mature then Fractured Fairytales. This one is good if you like dark, bloody, or sexual dolls.

Miscellaneous

Bubbler Wrap Sim- I'm sure we all had an interest in popping bubble wrap at one point or another in our lives. Well, this is brilliant for those that still do. :] Online bubble wrap. Not quite the same as the real thing, but still fun.
Disney's Arielle- A cute little site for The Little Mermaid. It also has a ton of wallpapers; not only for Ariel, but for the other the Disney princesses, so I would go take a gander at it if you are looking for those.
